Access

The keyless entry lock makes it easy for you to come and go. The lock has an app to lock/unlock the phone via bluetooth. You will be provided with an eKey and a personalized code so you don't have to worry about having your phone. In addition, you will have access to everything in the house to include laundry and beach equipment.

Interaction With Guests

The only interaction will be in the event of an emergency or complaint. I will check in periodically via text/ email to ensure you have everything you need.

Neighborhood

The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly! Please be respectful as there are many full time residents, but don’t hesitate to say hi! It is a privately owned street so traffic is minimal and it has easy access to the beach so that you can enjoy the sugary white sands and blue water. The sunsets are breathtaking, and some evenings you can enjoy an aerial show from local P-51 Mustangs and other small planes. On Thursdays you can go to the dune at the end of the street or walk just a little bit further out to the beach to watch the fireworks at 9 pm sharp.

Transit

Uber’s are plentiful in Destin or you can walk to Norriego Pointe and catch the water taxi over to the boardwalk and local restaurants.

Notes

Departure Instructions As you depart, there are a few departure procedures with which we ask your assistance and appreciate very much for helping with. During peak seasons, departure time is 10 am sharp unless other arrangements have been made with the rental manager. These small things will help ensure that there is a smooth transition between guests and will hopefully be reciprocated for you in the future if you choose to stay again. Please… **Laundry pods and dishwasher pods provided for departure procedures** -Wash all used beach towels and dry. Please ensure sand has been shaken off any items before placing in washer. -Do not wash the slip cover mattress protector, unless absolutely necessary. (Gentle wash cycle warm water/low heat tumble) -Load the dishwasher and run it. Cleaning crew will unload it. -Remove all items from the refrigerator/freezer -Take all trash out to the trash can marked 11 located out front. -If needed, run self-cleaning oven mode the night before your departure -Clean used pots/ pans/ skillet/ Panini press (Do not put in dishwasher). -Sweep up any excessive sand. -Your code will expire at 10 am the day you check out. Cleaning crew will arrive shortly behind you. -Check all drawers (under the bed) and closet for personal items. House Rules

- MUST BE 25 years of age. Valid ID will be required to check-in. - A rental agreement will be sent at confirmation, the agreement must be signed at booking confirmation to receive an access code for the unit. - No 3rd Party Booking. - 6 guests maximum (regardless of age), no exceptions. - All adult guests must be listed prior to making a reservation. - A limited amount of expendable items are provided to get you started. - Beach towels/ Bath Towels/ Linens are provided by the unit, not the resort. Please do not take bath towels or linens outside of the unit. - Guest will be responsible for any lost/ damaged/ stolen/ missing items. Please remember to bring the beach towels back to the unit. - Be respectful of all neighbors / property. - Checkout instructions are several steps to ensure there is a smooth transition between guests. They are listed in the rental agreement and in the unit.

This was a beautiful and spotless vacation home. The beach is worth the short walk. It literally took my breath away especially since we walked out early in the morning before there was anyone else out. This place is a hidden gem! The host was wonderful and communication was second to none. The home is beautifully renovated and everything you need is provided.

Great location with short walk to dunes and the beach. Very convenient spot that is in a quieter part of Destin. The grill was in terrible shape when we arrived, but Aaron was very responsive and had it replaced within a couple of hours. I would stay here again.

My wife and I drove 14hrs to get out of the cold. When we pulled up Aaron the host and two other gents were inside the home with out masks, knowing that we were still trying to be very careful with Covid. This was very unsettling. We ended up Lysoling everything down to be cleanly and careful with Covid. The master bed was the most uncomfortable bed we’ve ever slept on (the sheet didn’t fit making it feel like a air mattress), so we moved into the second bedroom with that bed being somewhat firmer. The couch had food between the cushions which is really gross and was also incredibly uncomfortable. I went to check the grill planning on buying a propane tank but the grill still had food/tinfoil on it and looked like it wasn’t cleaned for a while. The place was still charming and close to the beach. We just expected more from the photos. We won’t be booking here again!
